The UN’s “SDG (Sustainable Development Goals)” (17 SDGs-Sustainable Development Goals) approach has created a consensus among the member states as the “new global development theory”. In this context, after the 2002-2011 growth and 2011-2018 slowdown periods, Turkey tries to draw a new economic perspective for itself for the 2019-2023 period with the Five-Year Development Plan. Therefore, our country has to get out of the recession and catch a new growth trend, taking into account the international conjuncture and the SDGs. TÜRKONFED should play an active role in this process.
