Women on the Entrepreneur Project was launched in June 2021 in order to enable women entrepreneurs in different regions of Turkey, regardless of sector and scale, to keep up with the digitalization processes of the changing world.
Within the scope of the project, the current situation of women entrepreneurs working in different regions of Turkey and what they need in which areas will be determined. The training determined based on the results of the needs analysis will be developed together with the relevant academicians and stakeholders, and online/face-to-face training contents will be produced for entrepreneur women, and this training will be made available to them. The training contents will be built on two pillars: gender awareness and technical capacity building. Technical contents will include topics to be determined as a result of needs analysis, such as digitalization, budget management, and supply chain. The models to be developed will include Gender Responsive Procurement by UN Women. Mentoring/coaching support will be provided to 50 entrepreneur women participating in the project training for 6-9 months by successful women in the sector and experts in their fields, and development support will be provided by Işbank to 10 women who successfully complete the process.
Project duration is planned as two years and the project will start with research to determine the current situation and needs. It is hoped to reach approximately 5,000 entrepreneur women in two years with digitalization and e-commerce training.
