We are looking for a dynamic team member to join us as a Project Specialist/Assistant Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and research new project funding opportunities, grants, and calls for proposals relevant to TÜRKONFED’s mission.

• Write and develop project proposals, ensuring alignment with funding requirements and organizational priorities.

• Ensure the overall functioning of the project and the fulfillment of success criteria in coordination with project stakeholders.

• Oversee the effective and efficient management of the project and administrative activities, aligning with TÜRKONFED’s mandate.

• Supervise project execution, ensuring all activities align with TÜRKONFED’s policies and guidelines.

• Monitor and control the project work plan, ensuring timely completion and effective implementation.

• Follow all stages of the project life cycle, including preparing periodic project development reports and organizing necessary meetings.

• Financially control all project-related contracts, track the signature process, and maintain proper archiving.

• Serve as a commissions’ reporter, ensuring key discussions, outcomes, and action points are effectively documented and communicated.

• Work in coordination with the communications department to prepare the project's press releases, site visit reports, website content, and social media materials.

• Fulfill additional duties assigned by the institution, ensuring adaptability to evolving project needs.

Qualifications:

• University degree in social, political, economy or legal sciences

• Preferably Individuals having at least 2 years of experience in running grant funds for civil society organizations and/or developing content for these funds and having at least 2 years of experience in project implementation

• A high level of proficiency in both written and spoken Turkish and English is a requirement. Additional language skills are an asset.

• Experience in writing reports, crafting information notes, project concept notes,

• Open to learning, with advanced planning, follow-up work, organization and reporting skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a detailed manner and manage multiple deadlines.

• Good command of MS Office applications and digital meeting and presentation programs.

• Able to work flexibly, with no travel restrictions.
