Fahri Örengül is an attorney at law registered with the Kocaeli Bar. He is the founding partner of the Örengül Law Firm and provides legal assistance in İzmit/Kocaeli. He has served as the president of the Kocaeli Bar in the past years after serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Kocaeli Bar. He has been chosen as the Lawyer of the Year byKocaeli Gazette and İzmit Rotary Club at the year 2003. He has served as a member of Board of Directors of Kocaeli Industrialists and Businessmen Association (KOSİAD) and East Marmara Business World Confederation (DOĞU MARSİFED) as well.
His articleshave been published on several gazettes and magazines and he is currently writing his own column in Kocaeli Gazette weekly. He also published a book called “State of the Country” which consist of his articles in his column. He has been speaker or manager of several panels and forums. He is married to NalanÖrengül who is also an attorney at law and is working as legal expert and mediator in the Örengül Law Firm. He has two daughters named Zeynep and Başak and they are both graduated from law school and currently working as attorneys at law.
