Born in Istanbul in 1984, Ersin Şahin completed his undergraduate degree at Istanbul University's Faculty of Business Administration before completing his master’s degree in International Business at Coventry University in England. He began his career at Şahin Metal, a family-owned company, and in 2015, along with the second generation of the family, started Erin Motor, a company that designs and manufactures internal combustion engines for unmanned aerial vehicles.
During the 2014-2024 period, he served as a Board Member of the Beylikdüzü Industrialists and Businessmen Association (BEYSİAD), and from 2021 to 2024, he undertook the role of Board Member at the Istanbul Industrialists and Businessmen's Federation (İSİFED). In 2024, Ersin Şahin was elected as the Vice Chairman of the Board of the Istanbul Industrialists and Businessmen's Federation (İSİFED).
In addition to these duties, Ersin Şahin is actively involved in the Machinery Committee of SAHA Istanbul, a defense and aerospace cluster, and holds memberships in numerous civil society organizations, including the DEİK Germany Business Council.
He continues to serve as a board member of TÜRKONFED, following the general assembly held in 2024.
