Born in Bursa in 1979, Murat Kaya completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Bursa. He graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration. After his education, Kaya started his career in a family company operating in the automotive sub-industry, and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yağız Lastik LTD. ŞTİ., which was established in 2008.
In addition to his duties as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of MARSİFED (Marmara and Central Anatolian Industry and Business Federation) and the Chairman of the High Advisory Board of GESİAD (Bursa Young Industrialists, Businessmen and Managers Association), he took part in the establishment of the TOBB Young Entrepreneurs Board (2009) and continues to work actively in various civil society organizations.
